Απόστολος Τζίκας

Επεμβατικός Καρδιολόγος Δομικών και Συγγενών Καρδιοπαθειών
Ο Απόστολος Τζίκας σπούδασε ιατρική στο Αριστοτέλειο Πανεπιστήμιο Θεσσαλονίκης και εξειδικεύτηκε στην Καρδιολογία στα Νοσοκομεία ΑΧΕΠΑ και Γ. Παπανικολάου. Στη συνέχεια έκανε διδακτορικό στο Thoraxcenter του Ρότερνταμ της Ολλανδίας και μεταδιδακτορικό στο Montreal Heart Institute του Καναδά στην Επεμβατική Καρδιολογία Δομικών και Συγγενών Καρδιοπαθειών.
Επέστρεψε στην Ελλάδα το 2012, αλλά συνέχισε να διδάσκει στα εργαστήρια νοσοκομείων του εξωτερικού με πάνω από 600 επεμβάσεις σε 32 χώρες. Μεταξύ αυτών στο Emory University Hospital, το Cleveland Clinic, το Karolinska University Hospital κ.α. Ο Dr Τζίκας είναι διεθνώς πιστοποιημένος εκπαιδευτής (proctor) για τις συσκευές Amplatzer και Portico THV, οι οποίες χρησιμοποιούνται σε μία πληθώρα καρδιακών επεμβάσεων. Στην Ελλάδα εργάζεται στο Ιατρικό Διαβαλκανικό, στο Πανεπιστημιακό Νοσοκομείο ΑΧΕΠΑ και διατηρεί ιατρείο στο κέντρο της Θεσσαλονίκης.
